About Ambrosia

Ambrosia is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1970. Founded by David Pack, Burleigh Drummond, Joe Puerta, and Christopher North, the band combined progressive rock with elements of symphonic jazz and opera, becoming one of the most popular acts of the mid-1970s. They released five albums between 1975 and 1980 and were the opening act for bands like Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones. Their biggest hits include "Biggest Part Of Me," "Holdin' On To Yesterday," and "How Much I Feel," all of which reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. During their initial decade of performing, the band earned four Grammy nominations, won two American Music Awards, and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After taking a long break, Ambrosia returned with a much-anticipated 2018 studio album, "Human Nature."
