Arch Enemy is, a Swedish heavy metal band that was formed in 1995 by Michael Amott and Christopher Amott. They are widely considered as one of the most seminal acts in the melodic death metal genre with influential guitar riffs and extreme vocal range. Over the years, the band has gone through many lineup changes, with their current members being Alissa White-Gluz (vocals), Michael Amott (guitars), Jeff Loomis (guitars), Sharlee D'Angelo (bass), and Daniel Erlandsson (drums).

Arch Enemy released their debut album, "Black Earth" in 1996, and have since released a total of nine full-length studio albums, with their latest being 2019's "Covered In Blood". Throughout their career, they have sold over 2 million records worldwide and have performed at some of metal's most prestigious festivals, including Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, and Bloodstock Open Air.
