Arijit Singh is an incredibly successful and respected Indian musician and playback singer from West Bengal, India and was born in 1987. His work covers a wide range of genres, including Bollywood, EDM, Ghazal, Hindustani, and Devotional Music. Singh first appeared on the music scene in the mid-2000s, where he achieved considerable success by winning the reality-singing contest Fame Gurukul in 2005 and began his playback career shortly after. Since then he has worked extensively throughout Bollywood and won numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious National Film Awards and the Filmfare Awards. One of his most successful songs has been the soundtrack to a movie called MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, for which he garnered several coveted awards. He is now widely regarded as one of India's most successful playback singers.
