Armand Hammer was a rap veteran with a career that spanned almost two decades. Starting in the mid-90s, Armand Hammer was part of the Profound Records collective and released two albums with the label. He then went on to produce and collaborate with a variety of other artists in the underground hip-hop scene. His unique, cerebral lyrics paired with his experimental production techniques pushed the boundaries of music production in the rap game. He released a number of full-length albums under the names Armand Hammer and Curly Castro before disbanding in 2012. Since then, he has released several acclaimed solo albums and remained active in the hip-hop community.
