Cadence is an American recording artist from New Jersey. He started his career in the early 2000s as part of the rap group Tru Impozze. His solo career began in 2003 with the release of his debut album entitled "Fight or Flight." His lyrics feature a mix of personal reflections and pop culture references. Since then, Cadence has released four additional albums, and has collaborated with many well-known artists such as Nas, Wiz Khalifa, and Just Blaze. He has also been featured on several Billboard charts and has amassed a dedicated following on social media. His most recent project, released in 2019, was a collaboration EP with fellow artist Schiott.
