Engelbert Humperdinck is a Grammy award-winning British singer and songwriter. His career began in 1966 when he released his debut album, "Release Me". His fame skyrocketed following its release and he earned a string of Top 10 hits in the UK and US in the late 60s and 70s. His biggest hit to date is a 1967 cover of "Release Me" which spent 56 weeks in the UK Top 40. He has released a total of 34 studio albums and 5 compilations, selling more than 150 million records worldwide. He was awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012 for his contribution to music over a career that now spans 50 years.
