Everclear is an American alternative rock band formed in Portland, Oregon in 1991. The band, which consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Art Alexakis, bassist Sam Hudson, and drummer Sean Winchester, have released eight studio albums since their formation, the most recent of which was released in 2015. The band is known for several hit singles such as "Santa Monica," "Wonderful," and "Everything to Everyone," and have achieved platinum and gold certifications in the US for their albums "Sparkle and Fade" and "Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile," respectively. Over their long-running career, Everclear has been nominated for two Grammy Awards and two American Music Awards, and have gone on multiple independent and collaborative tours. They remain a popular alternative rock band today, and their fans continue to enjoy their lively live performances.
