Franca is a Swiss folk and traditional music artist who is based in the Canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. In 2016, she released her debut full-length album, The Place of Musical Neverland, which has been praised for its fresh and pleasant combination of folk and traditional elements. Franca's early work was mainly based around traditional Swiss folk music, while as her career progressed she began to blend these traditional sounds with pop and rock influences. This has been true in her subsequent albums, 2017's Tales of Souls and Sparks and 2018's When Time Stops. She has toured with various international folk and traditional music ensembles and has appeared at many international festivals, including the Celtic Colours Festival in Nova Scotia, the Oxford Folk Festival in England, and India's The Festival of Fools. Franca continues to compose new folk and traditional music and has plans to record a fourth album in 2020.
