Guitar Wolf is a cult Japanese rock band, formed in Nagasaki in 1987. They are known for their loud, intense, and wild take on classic garage rock and punk, along with their energetic live performances. The band consists of guitarist, vocalist, and leader Seiji, bassist Billy, and drummer Toru. They are best known for their chart-topping 1997 hit single "Jet Generation", which also featured a music video that sparked a fashion trend across Japan. The band has released 11 studio albums and is still active, having completed their 30th Anniversary Tour in 2017. They remain deeply respected by their devoted fanbase in Japan and around the world.
