Kevin Yost is an American house music producer, DJ, and founder of the now-defunct label I Records. His career started in the early 1990s when he began producing tracks for I Records and over the years his music has been released on numerous labels including Yoshitoshi Recordings, Hed Kandi, Nervous Records, and Plastic City. He has collaborated with various artists including Dave Seaman, Desyn Masiello, and Satoshi Tomiie, adding more depth to his musical style. With over 100 releases, he has established himself as a major producer in the house music scene. In addition to his production work, Kevin Yost has also toured extensively in Europe, Australia, Japan and the US. He has become increasingly influenced by jazz, dub and funk elements as the years have passed, adding a unique depth to his musical output.
