About King's X
King's X is an American band formed in Texas in 1980. They have been described as a “groove-laden mixture of classic hard rock, progressive rock, and psychedelic rock” and employ three-part harmony vocals. The original lineup consisted of Doug Pinnick (bass guitar and lead vocals), Jerry Gaskill (drums), and Ty Tabor (guitar and backing vocals).
King's X released their eponymous debut album in 1988 and achieved their greatest commercial success with their 1990 album "Faith, Hope, Love", which reached No. 87 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart—and No. 17 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart—for the song “It’s Love.” They have continued to release studio albums over the years including “Gretchen Goes to Nebraska" in 1989, "Dogman" in 1994, and "Please Come Home...Mr. Bulbous" in 1998.
