Moderat is an electronic music trio based in Berlin. Comprised of Sascha Ring (a.k.a Apparat) and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (from Modeselektor). Moderat produces a blend of minimal techno, house, post-dubstep and electronica. Since their formation in 2002, Moderat has released three studio albums - 'Moderat' (2009), 'II' (2013) and 'III' (2016) - and one EP - 'Auf Kosten der Gesellschaft' (2010). Their music has been praised for its intricate production and emotive nature, having gained modern day classics like 'Rusty Nails', 'Bad Kingdom', 'Reminder' and 'A New Error'. Moderat have performed at a variety of prominent festivals including Movement (USA), Melt! (Germany), Sonar and Primavera Sound (Spain).
