About Nick Mulvey

Nick Mulvey is a British singer-songwriter and composer from London. He rose to fame as a founding member of the folk band, Portico Quartet. After leaving the band in 2011, he embarked on a solo career and released a debut album, First Mind, in 2014 which reached number 12 in the UK Albums chart. In 2017, he released his second album, Wake Up Now, which was nominated for the Mercury Prize in the same year. His unique folk-rock sound combines traditional folk music with smooth soul and jazz elements. Mulvey's music has a strong influence from the folk style of song-writing popular in British folk coming from the Iron and Gold renaissance. He has also collaborated with various artists, including Bombay Bicycle Club and Editors. Nick Mulvey has released three studio albums and has toured a variety of countries across Europe and America.
