About Nitzer Ebb
Nitzer Ebb is an electronic music group that formed in Essex, England in 1982 and first gained fame in the mid-1980s as part of the post-industrial underground music scene. Their name is derived from the Nazi slogan "Deutschland Über Alles". The group’s original lineup included Douglas McCarthy on vocals, Bon Harris on programming and keyboards, and David Gooday on drums and programming. Their sound focused on rhythmic, militaristic beats, layered soundscapes, and aggressive vocal delivery. Their debut album, That Total Age was released in 1987 by Mute Records. It was warmly welcomed by the post-industrial underground and alternative rock scenes. In the years since, Nitzer Ebb have released five further studio albums and an extensive collection of EPs and singles.
