Protomartyr tickets

Protomartyr is an American post-punk quartet from Detroit, Michigan composed of vocalist Joe Casey, guitarists Greg Ahee and Tom Sullivan, and drummer Alex Leonard. The band first gained recognition with their 2014 album, Under Color of Official Right. The album received acclaim for its tight, muscular sound and Casey's snarky, nihilistic lyrics. Since then, they have released four further albums, expanding on their dark, post-punk swagger, while incorporating elements of indie-rock and psychedelia into their sound. Protomartyr’s most recent album, 2019's Ultimate Success Today, was lauded for its incisive critique of contemporary life in America. The band continues to release powerful music and remain a vital force in the post-punk and indie music scenes.
