About Pure Prairie League

Pure Prairie League is an American country rock band that was founded in 1969 in Waverly, Ohio. The original line-up consisted of Craig Fuller, Tom McGrail, Jim Caughlan, John David Call, and George Ed Powell and they released four albums during the 1970s. Pure Prairie League became popular in the late 1970s for their melodic sound, three-part harmonies, and Fuller's songwriting. They had hits with "Let Me Love You Tonight" and "Amy," and have continued to perform concerts and regularly record and release new music. Some of their more recent releases include All in Good Time (2012), The Very Best of Pure Prairie League (2013), and Volume One (2015). Since their start in the 1960s, Pure Prairie League has been influential on the country music scene and continues to influence younger generations of musicians.
