About Smokie
Smokie is a British pop and rock group that was formed in Bradford, England in 1965. Their original line-up included Mike Craft (vocals, drums); Alan Silson (guitar, vocals); Chris Norman (keyboards, vocals); Terry utley (bass) and Ron Kelly (guitar).
Smokie's first hit single was "If You Think You Know How to Love Me," which climbed to number 5 on the UK chart and was later released to the US. The success of this single catapulted the band into international stardom, and they went on to achieve several more hit singles in countries across Europe.
During their career, Smokie produced ten studio albums, two greatest hits compilations, and several other compilations. Their music was influenced by popular genres of the day, such as punk and glam rock. They also collaborated with well-known artists such as Suzi Quatro and Ray
