Stop Light Observations is an indie rock band based in Savannah, GA that formed in late 2011. The lead singer and songwriter is William Cashion, formerly the bassist of indie legends Editors. The band blends elements of indie, alternative, and Southern folk into the sound of their four albums. Their debut, 2013's Toes in the Sand, featured the hit single "Big Black Hole" which gained the band national attention. The follow-up, 2016's Space, showcased the single "Stay", and the album hit the Billboard top 100 and Spotify's Viral 50 list. The third album, 2018's Long Live, delved deeper into the band's Southern influence with singles like "Summer Strut" and "Come Around". The band's latest album, 2020's Loomer, was released this summer and earned critical acclaim for its ethereal and experimental sound.
