About Taxiride

Taxiride is an Australian rock band, active from the mid-90s to the early 2000s, who achieved international success with their debut album Imaginate. Formed in Melbourne, the group consisted of Jason Harding (vocals/guitar), Dan Hall (bass), Tim Wild (guitar/vocals) and Darren Danielson (drums). Taxiride saw their first success with their debut single, "Get Set", which topped the Australian Singles Chart and earned them two ARIA nominations. The second single, "Creepin' Up Slowly" became a hit as well, peaking at number 3 on the Australian charts and receiving rotation on U.S. radio. The band's debut album, Imaginate, went double platinum in Australia, and their follow-up album, Garage Mahal, was certified gold. After several more releases, the band released their final album, Allied Stars, in 2007. Taxiride toured extensively around Australia
