About The Black Keys

The Black Keys are an American garage rock duo from Akron, Ohio. The duo consists of Dan Auerbach on vocals and guitar and Patrick Carney on drums. The band has experienced commercial success since their first album, The Big Come Up, released in 2002. The Black Keys' signature sound incorporates traditional blues influences and has been credited as one of the most driving forces behind the emergence of the garage rock revival. Their 2010 album, Brothers, won three Grammy Awards including one for Best Alternative Music Album. The following album, El Camino, reached number 2 on the Billboard 200 in the United States. The duo has released eight studio albums as of 2019 and have sold over 5 million albums worldwide.
