The Holloways are an English indie rock band from North London, comprising of singer/guitarist RobSkimer, bassist Matthew Swinnerton, drummer/singer Alfie Jackson, and keyboardist Marion Andrews. They have released two albums, 'So This is Great Britain?' in 2005 and 'No Smoke, No Mirrors' in 2008 as well as two Eps, 'What Rough Beasts' in 2007 and 'Partytime!' in 2009. The Holloways achieved mainstream success in 2006 with the infectious single 'Generator' which reached number 13 in the UK Singles Chart and also made the BBC Radio One A List. They have since toured extensively across the UK, Europe, and North America. Their music has been compared to the likes of The Kooks, The Libertines, and Arctic Monkeys.
