The Sugarhill Gang tickets

The Sugarhill Gang is a one-hit-wonder hip-hop group, whos 1979 single "Rappers Delight" that hit the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was the first rap track that ever made it into the Billboard chart by that time, and the group's groovy 80s R&B & hip-hop track is still a community favorite to this day. The group went on to become a mediocre figure hip-hop community; however, their legacy as a hip-hop funk group from the late 70s still lives on. They've had mild success until the mid-80 but only for the European audiences. In 1999 after they reunited, Sugarhill Gang recorded an all kid's hip-hop album called "Jump On It". The title track of the record became an instant hit, yet it wasn't taken very seriously. The track, however, is a sure party starter making the rounds on disco and oldies playlists.
