Weakened Friends is an American indie rock band from Portland, Maine. The band consists of singer-guitarist Sonia Sturino, guitarist / bassist Annie Hoffman, and drummer Cam Jones. The band released their debut EP, Clean Depression, in 2014. Their brand of gritty alt-rock gained them a national audience of listeners. They went on to perform at festivals such as SXSW and School Night, and toured with modern rock icons such as Bully and Fearless Records’ Vexes. In the summer of 2018, Weakened Friends released their debut album Common Blah which was followed by a tour with The Frights. The album features singles such as "Hate Mail" and "Sleepyhead". The band is currently recording their follow-up album, due to be released in early 2021.
