About Wolfgang Flür
Wolfgang Flür was the longtime drummer of German electronic group Kraftwerk. He joined the group in 1973, and contributed to a number of highly influential recordings frequently hailed as some of the best electronic music ever created. Flür's thoughtfully crafted rhythms and innovative use of electronic drum machines made him an integral part of Kraftwerk's sound and success. After leaving the group in 1987, he continued to explore electronic music, performing and releasing records with DAF, his own solo project Yomo Yomo, and a collaboration with Hiroshi Wakasugi called Maxixe. Flür released his final album Eloquence in 2018, showcasing his dexterity and longevity as an electronic musician.
