About Yellowcard
Yellowcard is an American pop-punk band that rose to prominence in the early 2000s. Formed in 1997 in Jacksonville, Florida, Yellowcard originally consisted of lead singer Ryan Key, Alex Lewis on guitar and backing vocals, Longineu Parsons III on drums, Ben Dobson on guitar, and Sean Mackin on violin. After several lineup changes, the band consists of Key, Parsons, violinist and singer Sean Mackin, guitarist Ryan Mendez, and bassist Josh Portman.
The band found success with their 2002 album "Ocean Avenue". The album's eponymous single, "Ocean Avenue," peaked at No. 37 on the Billboard Hot 100, and claimed the No. 1 spot on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart.
