Anjelah Johnson-Reyes is an American actress, comedian, and former NFL cheerleader. She rose to prominence after her 2007 MadTV sketch “Nail Salon” went viral and has since become an internationally-renowned comedian. She has toured the world, performing to sold-out crowds, and is the star of four comedy specials aired on Showtime, TBS, and Netflix. Beyond stand-up comedy, Johnson-Reyes has had roles in several films and television shows, including 2006’s The Shield and 2011’s Our Family Wedding. She is also an accomplished voice actress, providing her talents to many animated shows. Her debut album, Gold Plated Dreams, was released in 2018 and peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard comedy albums chart.
