Daniel Caesar is a multi-talented Canadian singer, songwriter and producer. His music is a mix of soul, R&B and gospel. Caesar initially gained notoriety through his debut EP Praise Break in 2014, and then his critically acclaimed debut album Freudian was released in 2017. He won a Juno Award for Best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for Freudian and has received several more award nominations, including two Grammy nominations for his 2018 record, Case Study 01. In addition to his solo albums, he has collaborated with other artists, including his 2017 collaboration with H.E.R. on a salute to gospel music on her album. Caesar continues to write and produce his own music and collaborate with a diverse range of artists.
