About Dave Graney & The Coral Snakes

Dave Graney & The Coral Snakes are an innovative and much-loved Australian musical group, led by the talented Dave Graney. The band placed their unique blend of blues, soul, punk, and psychedelic rock during the late 80's to mid-90s. Throughout their career, Graney and the band released seven celebrated albums. Their best-known albums include 'Spooky', 'Night of the Wolverine', 'Soft 'n' Sexy Sound', and 'The Soft 'n' Sexy Sound'. They achieved their greatest success with their 1993 album 'The Soft 'n' Sexy Sound', which hit number three in the ARIA Charts and contained the hit single 'You Wanna Be There'. Graney & The Coral Snakes have since been recognised as pioneers of the alternative music scene in Australia and have had a huge influence on many of today's musical acts.
