Durante is an American singer-songwriter based in Austin, Texas. He is known for his dexterous vocals and unique blend of traditional indie rock, classical music, and vintage-styled sound production. Durante first gained recognition as a top competitor in an online vocal competition in 2017, where he won first place with his single 'The Water'. Following the success of the single, he released two more singles in 2018, 'The Screen' and 'Wilderness'. He is most recently known for his second EP entitled Cedar Hollow, which was released in May 2020. His music has an enduring emphasis on intricate stories behind each song, and has been praised for its dreamy, ethereal sound and instant recognition of beauty.
