Jodeci is an American R&B/soul quartet formed in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1990. The group first became popular in the early 1990s and is composed of two sets of brothers - The DeVantes Swing and vocalists K-Ci and JoJo. Jodeci is known for their work in the brand of melodic slow jams and R&B grooves. Some of their most popular singles include 'Stay', 'Come & Talk to Me' and 'Forever My Lady'. The group enjoyed sustained success throughout the first half of the decade and released 4 albums between 1991 and 1996. The group eventually disbanded in 1998 to pursue solo careers, however, they joined together again in 2014 for a reunion tour and 2016 album release, “The Past, The Present, The Future”. Jodeci have been praised for helping bridge the gap between classic soul and contemporary hip hop.
