Joeboy is a Nigerian singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2019 with the release of single “Baby”. He quickly followed that success with two more singles, “Beginning” and “Faaji”, both of which reached the Top 10 on the Nigerian charts. In 2020, Joeboy released his debut album titled "Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic", which debuted at number 2 on the Nigerian iTunes album chart. The album featured singles such as “Call”, “Count Me Out” and “Lonely”. Joeboy has since gone on to collaborate with artists both from Nigeria and around the world, including Kenneth Obi, Mr Eazi, and Tems. He was recently nominated for a 2021 Grammy for Best Global Music Album.
