She began her music career in 2003 when she released her highly successful debut album "The Soul Sessions" which went multiple times platinum and contained the top 40 hit "Fell in Love with a Boy". Since then, she has released 8 studio albums, 3 compilation albums, and several other singles. Her soulful blues-tinged ballads such as "Super Duper Love" and "Right to Be Wrong" have earned her four Grammy Award nominations. Stone's sound has evolved over the years, transitioning from sprightly soul to funky and bluesy dance, folk- and reggae-oriented pieces. She has collaborated with several musicians, including Duffy, Damien Marley, B.B. King, and Jeff Beck.
