Kerry Ellis is an English actress, singer and West End performer. She has had an extensive career in musical theatre, performing leading roles in shows such as Cats, Les Misérables, and We Will Rock You. She is perhaps best known for originating the role of Elphaba in the London production of Wicked. She subsequently made her Broadway debut as Elphaba in 2008, which earned her a nomination for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical.

In addition to her theatre work, Ellis has released 3 solo albums and has collaborated on albums with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Brian May. She also has a successful tour-based concert career and is a regular performer in plays, musicals and opera.

Ellis has had a tireless career in the arts, proving to be amongst the few leading voices whose career spans across musical theatre, plays, film, television, opera, concerts and recording.
