Light Asylum is a Brooklyn-based electronic music duo formed in 2010 by singer Shannon Funchess and multi-instrumentalist Bruno Coviello. Known for their dark, synth-driven sound, the duo quickly gained a following within the underground electronic and goth music scenes. Their powerful performances, characterized by Funchess's dynamic and emotive vocals, have drawn comparisons to the likes of Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails.
