About Lorna Luft
Lorna Luft is an American singer, songwriter, author, television and film personality, and daughter of Judy Garland. She began singing professionally in the late 1960s and her first television role was on her mother's show The Judy Garland Show in 1963. Throughout the 1970s, she starred in musicals and TV movies. She also appeared in the Broadway musicals Side by Side by Sondheim and Grease. In the late 1980s, Luft released her first album, the critically acclaimed Follow the Yellow Brick Road and other songs from the Judy Garland songbook. She went on to release two additional albums. Luft has also hosted and sang the title song for the British TV series Judy Garland: The Concert Years and released an autobiography in 2000. In recent years she has focused on performing with symphony orchestras and occasionally appearing in television and Broadway shows.
