Mýa (born October 10, 1979) is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and actress. Her debut album, Mýa, was released in 1998 and she gained widespread recognition for the singles "It's All About Me" and "Ghetto Superstar". Her next two studio albums Fear of Flying (2000) and Moodring (2003) featured the singles "Case of the Ex" and "My Love Is Like...Wo". Mýa released several successful albums in the 2000s and has collaborated with other top artists, such as Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj, and Brandy. In 2009, she released the fourth studio album Sugar & Spice and in 2016, her sixth studio album Smoove Jones was released. As an actress, Mýa has starred in films such as the 2002 film Chicago and the 2009 film Cursed Part III. She has also judge on the 17th season of Dancing with the Stars and
