Matt Costa is an American singer-songwriter hailing from Huntington Beach, California. He began performing in local venues and built a local fan base before signing to Jack Johnson’s Brushfire Records in 2005. Costa's first album, titled Songs We Sing, was released in 2006 and he quickly became popular in the indie-folk scene. Costa released two more albums on Brushfire, Unfamiliar Faces in 2008 and Mobile Chateau in 2011. In 2014, Costa signed to Vanguard Records and released his self-titled album in 2015. His most recent album is the 2018’s Santa Rosa Fangs. Throughout his career, Costa has received positive reviews from critics and continues to tour internationally.
