Phil Jamieson is an Australian music artist known for his rock and pop music. He is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the band Grinspoon, which he formed in 1995. Jamieson's songwriting has been recognised with two ARIA Music Awards for Best Group and Album of the Year. Jamieson has released four solo albums – Comfort Me, Far Out Believers, A Place in the Sun and The Witness Tree. He has also provided guest vocals on albums by bands such as The Whitlams, You Am I and Davey Lane and supported acts such as Foo Fighters, Morrissey and Jet. His solo music features a mix of styles, including Americana, folk, blues and punk.
