Rhapsody of Fire are an Italian symphonic power metal band, formed in 1998. Initially known as Rhapsody, the band changed their name to Rhapsody of Fire in 2006. They are widely credited by fans and critics for starting the symphonic power metal genre. The band's early albums blended fantasy and classical elements with power metal, featuring legendary battles and medieval themes.

Rhapsody of Fire have released twelve studio albums and multiple EPs, live albums, and compilations over their two decades-long career. Their most successful releases include the albums Symphony of Enchanted Lands (1998) and Dawn of Victory (2000). They have toured throughout Europe and performed alongside well known metal acts, such as Manowar and Stratovarius. They have also played numerous major festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Graspop Metal Meeting.
