Scott Matthews is a singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom who began his career in 2005 with his debut album, Passing Stranger. His emotive and reflective songwriting style combined with his distinctive guitar playing and throaty vocal style has made him a celebrated artist in the UK, with the album going platinum.

Scott Matthews has since released a further four albums and is now known as a consistent and beloved solo artist. He has had a number of collaborations with musicians ranging from the National Orchestra of Wales to jazz bassist Michael Manring.

He has toured widely in the UK, Europe and the US, has been awarded several independent music awards, and has performed at the Glastonbury, New Orleans Jazz and Yamaha Jazz Festivals. Matthews’ work has been featured in films and documentaries, with one of his songs covered by YouTube star Hikaru Narao, and featured in the soundtrack of the 2014 Spanish animated film “Las Aventuras de Tadeo Jones
