Iamnotshane is an indie/alternative artist from Sydney, Australia. Since releasing debut EP Too Young to Grow Old, Iamnotshane's sound has evolved to a folk-pop style, which incorporates elements of alternative rock and indie-rock. In 2015 Iamnotshane released the single "Don't Hold On" which received praise from Triple J. Later that year, Iamnotshane released his debut album A Wonderful Activity. This album was lauded for its bright, eclectic sound that explored issues of mental health and personal growth. Iamnotshane's most recent release, the EP Stranger Things, features layered instrumentals and was released to critical acclaim in 2018. Iamnotshane is currently in the studio preparing upcoming releases.
