Tha Dogg Pound is a rap group from Long Beach, California, consisting of rappers Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. The group is well known for their association with Death Row Records and their close relationship with Tupac Shakur. Since their rise to fame in the mid-90's, Tha Dogg Pound has released five full-length studio albums, along with twelve singles and numerous mixtapes. They are also known for their many collaborations, such as with Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, and other members of the Death Row Records stable. Since the beginning of their career, Tha Dogg Pound has been highly respected and influential in the hip-hop community, with their acclaimed debut album Dogg Food earning them a GRAMMY Award nomination for Best Rap Album.
