Thank You Scientist is an eclectic seven piece Progressive Rock group from New Jersey. Combining elements of jazz, progressive rock, funk and classical music, the bands sound is truly unique, and has seen them compared to the likes of Steely Dan and Frank Zappa.

Since their formation in 2009, Thank You Scientist has created a loyal following through their signature live shows and frequent touring, including a tour with fellow Prog Rockers Coheed and Cambria. They have released two studio albums 'Maps of Non-Existent Places' in 2012, and 'Stranger Heads Prevail' in 2016, as well as two EPs 'The Perils Of Time Travel' and 'Terraformer'.

Their music has achieved a positive reception from both critics and fans; earning them a spot on the 2017 Prog Awards in the Best Breakthrough Artist category. Most recently, they released a new single, 'Rube Goldberg Variations', in May of 2019.
