The Human Highway is an American indie rock band comprised of vocalist/guitarist Aaron Rustebakke, drummer Nikki Monninger, bassist/vocalist Jonathan TeBeest, and guitarist E.J. Soster. Although the band was originally based out of Denver, they relocated to Los Angeles in 2003. The Human Highway has a unique style blending elements of indie rock, folk, and alt-country to craft their songs.

Their 2006 debut album, “The Perfect Self”, was well-received by critics and included some of their most popular songs, such as "Too Many Animals" and "Dog Vs Cat". The Human Highway followed up in 2008 with their album “Nothing Falls Apart”, which featured a more expansive sound including more layered vocals and multiple instrumentation. The band has gone on to play stages all over the country and is praised for their captivating and energetic live shows.
