One of Australia's favorite bands, The Whitlams formed in 1992 in Newtown and started performing acoustically on Saturday afternoons. They have released 4 albums playing catchy sound reaching audiences of all age. The current line-up hasn't changed since 2001 and consists of Tim Freedman on piano and vocals, Jak Housden on guitar, Warwick Hornby on bass guitar and Terepai Richmond on drums.
