About They Might Be Giants
They Might Be Giants is an American alternative rock/power pop duo from Brooklyn, New York, that was formed in 1982. Since then, they have earned a considerable fan following, with many crediting them for ushering alternative music into the mainstream. They Might Be Giants are known for their creative sound that incorporates elements from a wide range of musical styles, including punk, folk, synth-pop, and jazz. The band consists of two founding members, John Flansburgh and John Linnell, as well as long-time collaborator Marty Beller. They Might Be Giants has released 18 studio albums, as well as numerous singles, live albums, and soundtracks. They have also produced several award winning music videos, such as one for their song, “The Mesopotamians.” They Might Be Giants are currently touring in support of their latest album, “Glean,” and still remain one of the most beloved bands in the alternative music scene.
