Toni Childs is an American singer-songwriter best known for her albums Union (1988) and House of Hope (1991). She is also an artist who advocates for Indigenous, race and gender equality. Her music has a strong focus on the power of love and the injustices of the world, and combines elements of pop, world, and folk music. Her song "Because You're Beautiful" was included in the soundtrack of the 1989 movie, The Big Blue, and her best known songs include "Don't Walk Away", "I've Got To Go Now" and "Stop Your Fussin'". She has collaborated and performed with other renowned artists such as U2, Peter Gabriel, The Chieftains, and David Lindley. In 2008, she was inducted into the Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame.
