About Train
Train is an American pop rock band from San Francisco, California. Established in 1993, the band consists of Patrick Monahan (lead vocals), Jimmy Stafford (guitar, backing vocals), and Scott Underwood (drums). The group rose to fame with their hit song "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)", which was released in April of 2001 and went on to win two Grammys. Train followed up the success of that track with their album My Private Nation (2003), which went triple platinum. Their next two albums, For Me, It's You (2006) and Save Me, San Francisco (2009), achieved gold status. Train's eleventh studio album, Ain't That a Bitch (2020) includes additional hit songs like "Mai Tais" and "Soldiers of the Sun". The band has had a successful career spanning two decades, with a total of 11 albums released along with 5 Grammy Award wins.
