Vulvodynia are a South African metalcore act from Cape Town, South Africa. Formed in 2014, the band consists of guitarist Sean Herman (Grim Dormancy), vocalist Duncan Bentley (Grim Dormancy), bassist Luke Haarhoff and drummer Brent Harris. They are signed to Lacerated Enemy Records. Vulvodynia's debut album "Mob Justice" was released in 2017 and met with critical acclaim, earning them a spot on the coveted Metalcore/Groove Metal list by Beatport. The band have since released four albums, "Psychosadistic Design" in 2018, "The Endless Pathology" in 2020, as well as two EPs, "Eviscerate" and "Mimes Evil". Vulvodynia's sound is a mix of slamming deathcore, technical metalcore, and thrash melodic death metal. Their unique sound brings intensity and hooks to their audience.
