Warren Haynes is an American singer-songwriter, born in Asheville, North Carolina, in 1960. He is known for his country, blues, rock and gospel music styles. He is best known as a member of the Allman Brothers Band and his other band Gov't Mule. He is a Grammy Award winner and an inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In addition to performing, Haynes is an accomplished songwriter, having written songs for such iconic artists as John Hiatt, Diana Ross, the Young Rascals and the Marshall Tucker Band. He continues to be a highly sought-after session guitarist and has appeared on albums with the likes of the Derek Trucks Band, the Dixie Chicks and Willie Nelson.
